Job summary

Unknown is seeking a data engineer to design, build, and operate production-grade data pipelines for diverse ingestion patterns. You will integrate data from on-premise systems, APIs, databases, and streaming sources, while shaping cloud-native and hybrid data stores for analytics.

The role requires 3–5 years in data engineering, hands-on data pipeline experience, and proficiency with AWS/Azure and software engineering practices, including CI/CD and IaC.

Qualifications

• Degree with 3–5 years of experience in data engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience designing, building, and operating production-grade data pipelines.
• Experience with data extraction, ingestion, ETL/ELT, transformation, modeling, and data quality.
• Familiarity with cloud data capabilities (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments.
• Experience applying software engineering practices to data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production-grade data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Integrate data from on-prem systems, APIs, databases, SaaS, files and streams.
• Develop batch, incremental, CDC, streaming, and event-driven ingestions.
• Design and maintain cloud-native and hybrid data stores and data lakes.
• Build trusted datasets and reusable data products for analytics and reporting.
