Job summary

PSA Singapore is seeking a data engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that support analytics, ML, and business insights. You will develop robust data pipelines, cloud-based platforms, and analytics capabilities while ensuring data quality, governance, and reliable operations.

You will work across ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, BI reporting, and AI/ML integration with a focus on Azure services and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or related roles with exposure to data platforms, cloud technologies, and analytics solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Build, optimize, and maintain scalable data models (star/snowflake) for analytics and BI.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability with validation and monitoring.
• Implement and manage cloud-based data solutions on Microsoft Azure (ADF, Data Lake, Azure SQL).
• Support infrastructure configuration and administration for reliable platform operations.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and establish monitoring and alerts.
• Support dashboards and reports using Power BI and ensure data pipelines integrate with reporting layers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions and visualizations.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to deploy models and integrate AI/ML capabilities.
• Ensure governance, security, access control, and data lineage; follow software engineering practices.
