Job summary

SBS Transit Limited is seeking a technically hands-on professional to design, build, and optimize secure cloud environments and data pipelines. You will research and pilot emerging software and automated logic frameworks to modernize the IT division's capabilities.

You will evaluate new cloud services, implement scalable ETL workflows, and ensure compliance with data governance policies while expanding operational automation across the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related quantitative discipline.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in cloud infra, data engineering, and tech evaluation/R&D.
• Ability to Benchmark trends and build sandboxed prototypes.
• Proficient with AWS core services and data processing tools.

Responsibilities

• Proactively evaluate emerging database technologies, cloud services, and automation frameworks for POCs.
• Code, test, and deploy quantitative algorithms and automated logic within application frameworks.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows for cross-department data ingestion.
• Provision, manage, and monitor resilient AWS cloud infrastructure and storage environments.
• Implement secure integration layers and API connections to link cloud backends with production systems.
• Benchmark platform performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks in infrastructure scaling and scripts.
• Ensure compliance with corporate data classification and governance policies.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Engineering
