Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage secure GCC and CC cloud solutions. You will lead infrastructure automation, DevOps practices, and cloud security while aligning with government standards.

You will build cloud-native architectures, implement IaC with Terraform/ARM, develop CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, and maintain HA enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud engineering or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience implementing and managing AWS cloud environments.
• Good understanding of AWS and Azure (or Google Cloud Platform) cloud technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates or equivalent.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and scripting using PowerShell or equivalent.
• Experience deploying High Availability (HA) solutions for enterprise applications and databases.
• Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure including servers, storage, backup and networking.
• Familiarity with Windows and Unix/Linux server administration.
• Understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, Problem and Configuration Management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy secure cloud solutions on GCC and CC environments.
• Design cloud-native architectures with scalability, security and compliance.
• Implement and manage IaC using Terraform, ARM or equivalents.
• Develop, configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or equivalents.
• Deploy, configure and maintain cloud infrastructure, servers, storage and networking components.
• Implement cloud security controls and networking boundary controls across environments.
• Monitor resources, troubleshoot issues and optimise cloud usage.
• Collaborate with CSPs, vendors and project teams to implement enhancements and security improvements.
• Support POC initiatives and end-to-end DevOps implementation.
• Ensure compliance with Government ICT policies, IM8 requirements, cybersecurity and data security standards.
• Prepare solution design documents, technical documentation and operational guides.
• Participate in project implementation, testing, deployment and production support.
• Contribute to Agile delivery and continuous improvement of cloud operations.
