Job summary

TAN TOCK SENG HOSPITAL PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Research Co-ordinator to support the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. You will assist with coordination, administrative tasks, and data management for clinical studies, registries, and grant-funded projects under supervision.

You will screen and recruit participants, manage REDCap data, ensure regulatory compliance, prepare study materials, and contribute to ethics submissions and site documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Nursing, Allied Health, Healthcare Management, or related discipline.
• Preferably 1–2 years of healthcare-related experience.
• Experience in patient-facing roles, healthcare administration, nursing, or allied health preferred.
• Research experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support study start-up activities, research administration, procurement, reimbursement claims, and study documentation.
• Coordinate study activities across clinics, wards, operating theatres, rehabilitation services, and external sites.
• Prepare study reports, presentations, and study materials.
• Screen, recruit, enrol, and follow up with study participants.
• Obtain informed consent where delegated and appropriately trained.
• Schedule study visits and coordinate participant assessments.
• Enter and maintain study data in REDCap and research databases.
• Maintain study logs and supporting documentation.
• Perform data cleaning and quality checks.
• Assist with ethics submissions, study amendments, annual reviews, and study documentation.
• Maintain Investigator Site Files and essential study documents.
• Support monitoring visits, audits, and inspections.
• Report protocol deviations and study issues to supervisors.
