Job summary

National University Hospital in Singapore is seeking a Psychologist to provide psychological therapies and psychometric assessments under supervision. The role includes conducting diagnostic interviews, formulating treatment plans, and implementing interventions for common psychiatric and medical conditions.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contribute to research projects, and develop clinical materials while maintaining high standards of care and reporting.

Qualifications

• Master of Psychology. Preferred specializations: Clinical, Child, Health, Educational, Neuropsychology.
• Masters level graduates, with relevant work/ internship experience prior to / during Master’s training.

Responsibilities

• Establish competence in conducting routine psychometric assessments and generate reports.
• Communicate findings effectively to the referral source.
• Conduct diagnostic interviews and arrive at a clinical diagnosis.
• Formulate treatment plans and implement simple psychological interventions.
• Contribute to development of intervention protocols and structured group therapy.
• Acquire skills in communicating with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Seek clinical supervision to improve clinical competency.
• Contribute to team-level operational tasks and participate in research as a member of the research team.
