Overview

Clinical Informatics Analyst, Clinical & Health Informatics Office (Contract)

Job Description: Support CHIO in the implementation of the hospital informatics strategic roadmap through the intelligent use of health informatics to facilitate the optimal delivery of patient care.

The Challenges
  • Solicit user requirements, perform technical feasibility study and evaluation, and solutioning design by engaging with stakeholders that include, but not limited to Synapxe, TTSH, NHG, and other public healthcare institutions.
  • Perform technical configurations and build within the Next Generation Electronic Medical Record (NGEMR) system, including customising workflows, creating tools and content, configuring decision support, and implementing system rules to support clinical processes.
  • Co-lead NGEMR related deployment such as system testing, developing and preparation of test scripts, and maintaining system documentation.
  • Co-manage external clinical systems interfaced with NGEMR.
  • Maintain technical builds knowledgebase and documentation.
Requirements
  • At least a tertiary degree from a recognized university. Preferably 1-3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office like Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint a must.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational and people management.
  • Strong analytical skills to manage complex issues and with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and process information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to initiate, deliver and drive projects independently.
  • Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a collaborative team.
