• Maintain the confidentiality of the patient records.
• Ensure accuracy of coded data sent to MOH on monthly basis.
• Meet KPI for Mediclaim / insurance coding and address to related queries from Patient Service Centre, Insurance and Physicians.
• Maintain and update the daily coding log with necessary details.
• Participate in monthly coding analysis and audits.
• Generate monthly and adhoc reports based on user requirements.
• Liaise with Physicians, Business Office and other stake holders on coding issues.
• Participate in quality and improvement projects if required.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Medical/ Nursing/ Health sciences. Diploma holders are welcome to apply too.
• In-depth knowledge of medical terminology/ procedures.
• Basic Coding Assessment (BCA) certificate from the Ministry of Health is an added advantage.
• At least 1 year experience in related field.
