Job summary

KK Women's & Children's Hospital is seeking a Medical Officer to support patient care under the guidance of specialists. You will manage patients, supervise House Officers, prepare medical reports and explain procedures to patients and families.

You will participate in teaching activities and cover shifts as needed, ensuring high standards of care and collaboration within the department.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent basic medical degree.
• Registered with Singapore Medical Council.

Responsibilities

• Perform the duties of a Medical Officer, including calls.
• Manage patients under specialists, under supervision.
• Assist, guide and supervise House Officers in their duties.
• Write medical reports and explain procedures to patients/relatives.
• Inform senior medical staff of major problems against medical advice.
• Participate in teaching activities.
• Perform other medical duties as directed by senior staff.
• Cover duties when the need arises.
