Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a managerial role in a healthcare or clinic setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare administrative procedures.
  • Able to commit to 2 weekday evening shifts and 1 weekend shift.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day counter duties for seamless patient experience.
  • Supervise clinic staff, provide guidance, training, and evaluations.
  • Monitor and optimize patient flow for efficient service delivery.
  • Handle appointment bookings and patient inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Address patient concerns and provide effective resolutions.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels.
  • Manage staff and doctor rosters.
  • Submit government and insurance claims accurately.
  • Support the clinic team with assistant duties when required.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and capable Clinic Supervisor to join our GP clinic, and will oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and patient-focused service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day counter duties to ensure a seamless patient experience
  • Supervise clinic staff, provide guidance, mentorship, training, and conduct performance evaluations
  • Monitor and optimize patient flow to maintain efficient service delivery and uphold high standards of care
  • Handle appointment bookings and inquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Maintain accurate and updated patient records using clinic management software
  • Address patient concerns and provide timely, empathetic, and effective resolutions
  • Conduct regular inventory checks, manage stock levels, and place orders as needed
  • Manage staff and doctor rosters, including sourcing and scheduling of locum doctors
  • Submit government and insurance claims (e.g., Medisave, CHAS, MBS, Managed Care) accurately and in a timely manner
  • Support the clinic team by covering clinic assistant duties when required
  • Undertake other administrative or operational tasks as assigned by the management
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a managerial role in a healthcare or clinic setting preferred
  • Strong familiarity with clinic operations and healthcare administrative procedures, including tallying of governance and insurance claims and following up promptly on accounts receivables
  • Proficient in the use of clinic management software and MS Office applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to speak Mandarin and/or Malay is an advantage, to communicate effectively with patients who are not proficient in English during medications dispensing
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility and leadership
  • Able to commit to 2 weekday evening shifts and 1 weekend shift.
