Job description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Clinic Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of our GP clinic in Bukit Batok. The role involves ensuring efficient workflows, excellent patient service, and a well‑coordinated team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform front‑desk duties to deliver a smooth and welcoming experience for all patients.
  • Oversee and guide clinic staff, providing coaching, on‑the‑job training, and regular performance feedback.
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and manage appointments through phone, email, and walk‑ins.
  • Streamline clinic operations by monitoring patient movement and ensuring minimal waiting times.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient information within the clinic management system.
  • Respond promptly and empathetically to patient feedback, resolving issues with professionalism and care.
  • Track and manage clinic inventory, ensuring adequate supplies and placing restock orders when required.
  • Plan and coordinate staff and doctor rosters, including sourcing locums or replacements when necessary.
  • Prepare and submit government and private insurance claims (e.g., Medisave, CHAS, MBS, TPA) accurately and within deadlines.
  • Provide operational support by stepping into clinic assistant functions when the need arises.
  • Assist management with various administrative and operational initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or senior clinical support role within a medical or healthcare environment is highly desirable.
  • Good understanding of day‑to‑day clinic functions and administrative workflows, including processing of claims and timely management of outstanding payments.
  • Competent in using clinic digital systems and Microsoft Office tools for daily operations and reporting.
  • Excellent people and communication abilities, with a professional and patient‑centred approach.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Malay will be beneficial to assist patients who may require language support when receiving their medications.
  • Highly organised and meticulous, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
  • Demonstrates initiative, reliability, and a hands‑on leadership style with a positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Willing and able to work three rotating shifts (including weekends and PH)
