Statement of Purpose

Toprovide front-line support services for clinic and work closely with doctorand fellow clinic assistantsto co-ordinate patient careandtoensure smooth day-to-day clinic operations

Key Results Areas & Key Accountabilities
A. Administrative/ Clinical
  1. Patient-centredservices such as patientregistration, appointment bookings,billings/payments.
  2. To prepare and retrieve relevant documents prior to appointments and their proper filing subsequently.
  3. Co-ordination of referrals to other clinics as well as arrange with relevant laboratories and radiology services for necessary investigations.
  4. Co-ordinate patient appointments and associated needs, etracing investigation results, contacting patients for followupcare etc.
  5. Track and help answer patients’ emails or enquiries.
  6. Scanning in files/documents.
  7. Assist doctor in procedures and dispensing of drugs as needed.
  8. Maintain patients’ privacy and confidentiality.
  9. Help maintain proper storage, checking and repletion of supplies, consumables and equipment.
  10. Administrative duties eg. filing of documents, mail.
  11. Maintain cleanliness and safety of clinic.
  12. Undergo training for Global Refunds and subsequently be proficient in processing these claims.
  13. Undergo training in Medisave submissions / claims.
B. Human Resource Management
  1. Orientate, guide and precept new staff.
C. Others
  1. Perform other duties as assigned.
