Job summary
A major banking institution in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented professional to handle account reviews and compliance duties. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in the banking sector, particularly in client onboarding with strong knowledge of KYC and AML regulations. Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required for liaising with headquarters. This role is critical for maintaining regulatory standards and facilitating client onboarding processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ related working experience within the Banking industry.
- Strong KYC/CDD/AML experience and knowledge.
- Proficient in spoken and written English/Chinese.
Responsibilities
- Review account opening documentation for clients.
- Ensure periodic reviews and timely processing of screening requests.
- Perform regulatory and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Review of account opening documentation for Corporate Clients/Financial Institutions and Private Banking clients. Ensure completeness in accordance with AML/KYC policy/guidelines
- Some PB experience will be added advantage.
- Ensure periodic reviews and screening requests are processed on a prompt and timely basis in accordance with defined turnaround time and maintaining a high quality of the screening requests performed
- Ensure effective discharge of the screening requirement based on defined screening methodology and workflow
- Review and update guidelines and procedures
- Perform Regulatory reporting/Management reporting where required
- Other ad-hoc and administrative duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ related working experience within the Banking industry, Client Onboarding space
- Strong KYC/CDD/AML experience and knowledge
- Independent and analytical team player with good communication skills
- Proficient in spoken and written English/Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking headquarter counterparties
