The Shortlist is a Singapore-based, independent PR and communications agency with a decade-long track record of delivering real business results. We are looking for a Senior Consultant, Manager or Director to join the Singapore team on a permanent basis, supporting a portfolio of global B2B tech, fintech and corporate

Qualifications

• Strong Singapore agency and media experience, ideally in B2B tech, enterprise tech, fintech or corporate communications.
• Excellent writing, meticulous under pressure, and journalists relationships in Singapore.
• Based in Singapore with significant work experience, and eligible to work in Singapore without an Employment Pass.

Responsibilities

• Turn research, trends and data into compelling media narratives across B2B tech, enterprise tech, fintech or corporate accounts.
• Develop thought leadership angles and proactive story ideas; counsel clients with confidence (including at C-suite level).
• Guide junior team members (depending on seniority), own client relationships, and raise the strategic standard of the wider team.

Job description

This independent PR and communications agency has spent over a decade building a reputation for getting real business results, without the agency fluff. Now a regional player with offices across SEA, they work across PR, content, branding and social for a portfolio that reads like a who's who of B2B tech, fintech and corporate names.

The Singapore team of around 20 sits at the centre of this growth story. It's fast-paced and high-expectation, with a strong emphasis on being vocal, consultative and intellectually curious: people who can diagnose what a client actually needs, not just execute a brief. Roughly 70% of the work is PR, with the rest spanning social, brand and broader integrated comms.

They're looking for a Senior Consultant, Manager or Director to join the Singapore team on a permanent basis, supporting a portfolio that includes global B2B tech, fintech and corporate healthcare clients.

What you'll be doing

You'll be the person turning research, trends and data into compelling media narratives, not just pitching announcements. Expect to work across B2B tech, enterprise tech, fintech, future of work, cloud/data, cybersecurity or corporate accounts where clients want a genuine point of view, not just a press release machine.

You'll develop thought leadership angles and proactive story ideas, counsel clients with confidence (including at C-suite level), and be trusted to challenge or improve a brief rather than simply deliver it. Depending on seniority, you'll also help guide junior team members, own client relationships, and raise the strategic standard of the wider team.

And who are you?

You've got strong Singapore agency and media experience, ideally in B2B tech, enterprise tech, fintech or corporate communications. You're naturally curious, well-read, and have a point of view on the business and industry issues that matter to your clients.

You write well, you're meticulous under pressure, and you already have relationships with journalists in Singapore. You're a confident self-starter who takes ownership without waiting to be told what the angle is, and you bring resilience and grit when things move fast.

Candidates must be based in Singapore, have significant work experience working in Singapore, and be eligible to work in Singapore without an Employment Pass.
