Job summary

Edelman Singapore is looking for a Client Executive who thrives in media relations, influencer engagement, and thought leadership. You’ll work to understand client goals and turn them into compelling communications strategies.

In a fast-paced, collaborative environment you’ll build relationships with media partners, draft materials, coordinate campaigns, and support new business through research and proposals. Training is available via Edelman Learning Institute.

Qualifications

• Degree/diploma in a relevant field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines.
• Previous internship experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and dedication to quality work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with client service staff.
• Basic understanding of media and analyst relations and social media.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic research and project management skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be part of a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a solid understanding of the broader communication industry.
• Understand client information including strategy, issues, products and services, key customers, and competitors.
• Develop earned media skills – Building relationships with media, surface new storylines, draft media briefing materials, build media lists, and outreach to media.
• Write, edit and proofread materials including press releases, briefing books, coverage reports, pitch notes, fact sheets, and client correspondence.
• Demonstrate knowledge of social media tools and channels.
• Help supervise and educate interns.
• Participate in new business processes, including research and proposal preparation.
• Commit to continuous learning through Edelman Learning Institute and other training opportunities.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman’s values and our Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
