Job summary

Bank of Singapore invites applications for a Client Due Diligence Analyst to support onboarding and periodic review processes. The role focuses on screening individuals and entities using prescribed search engines in line with the Bank’s risk controls.

You will engage with Front Office, Compliance and Change Management to ensure efficient, accurate screening and timely processing of requests, contributing to regulatory compliance within OCBC Group’s network.

Qualifications

• Similar experience in private banking or retail banking.
• At least 1 year of working experience in a similar capacity.
• Interest in developing career in Client Due Diligence space.

Responsibilities

• Perform individuals/entities name screening using prescribed search engines such as NetReveal, Dow Jones Factiva, Google and Baidu as part of the Bank’s Onboarding, Periodic Review processes
• Ensure effective discharge of the screening requirement based on defined screening methodology and workflow
• Ensure screening requests are processed promptly and with high quality
• Assist with other non-screening tasks as assigned by line manager (e.g., process improvements in the account services workflow)

What You Do

The Client Due Diligence Analyst reports into CDD Screening Team Lead where he/she will be primarily responsible for performing client name screening tasks for account onboarding and periodic review needs.

Key stakeholders will include Front Office, Compliance and Change Management Teams.

MAIN DUTIES

• To perform Individuals/entities name screening using prescribed search engines such as NetReveal, Dow Jones Factiva, Google and Baidu as part of the Bank’s Onboarding, Periodic Review processes
• Ensure effective discharge of the screening requirement based on defined screening methodology and workflow
• Ensure screening request are processed on a prompt and timely basis in accordance with defined productivity/efficiency measures and maintaining a high quality of the screening request performed
• Perform other non-screening tasks that may be assigned by line manager from time to time and ensure the effective discharge of the tasks assigned (such as process improvements in the account services workflow)
  
  

Who You Are

• Similar experience in private banking or retail banking. Candidates with at least 1 year of working experience in a similar capacity or who has displayed keenness in developing career in the area of Client Due Diligence space.
