About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Client Documentation Manager to support client onboarding and account maintenance activities within the Private Banking division. The role involves performing both maker and checker responsibilities to ensure that all client documentation meets internal standards and regulatory requirements.
You will work closely with Relationship Managers, Compliance, and Operations teams to review, validate, and process client documentation for new and existing accounts in a timely and compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate client documentation for account opening, maintenance, and closure in accordance with bank policies and regulatory standards.
- Perform maker and checker functions to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance of client files.
- Liaise with Relationship Managers and internal stakeholders to obtain and clarify documentation requirements.
- Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, FATCA, and CRS requirements, as well as MAS and global private banking standards.
- Support periodic and event-driven client reviews, ensuring data and documentation are updated accurately.
- Assist in implementing control measures to strengthen documentation governance and audit readiness.
- Maintain an organized record management process, ensuring timely filing and retrieval of client documents.
- Contribute to process enhancement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce documentation errors.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in private banking, client onboarding, or documentation operations.
- Strong knowledge of KYC, AML, FATCA, CRS, and regulatory expectations in Singapore.
- Hands-on experience in performing maker and checker duties.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in documentation.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with front office and support teams.
- Familiarity with private banking documentation systems and digital workflows is advantageous.
