Job summary

UBS in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager to support private bankers on the Global FIM desk. In this role you will be the entry point for clients with queries, process stock orders, payments and assist with account openings and onboarding.

You will help ensure compliance, gather documentation for meetings, and work with colleagues to maintain strict regulatory standards while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of assistant relationship manager experience, preferably in private banking or related operations.
• University degree with CACS Papers 1 and 2 to be licensed for the role.
• Financial services experience, ideally in a client facing team.

Responsibilities

• Be the point-of-entry contact for clients with account queries or orders, stock orders, payments, etc.
• Assist with account opening, onboarding, due diligence and monitoring activities
• Support documentation for client meetings, investment proposals and the like
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure client accounts comply with legal, compliance and regulatory requirements

• support our private bankers known as Client Advisors in our Global Financial Intermediaries (FIM) desk in Singapore to deliver exceptional client service and experience

The team

You'll be working in our Global Wealth Management business, supporting the Global FIM business unit in Singapore. Our role is to manage, preserve and grow the wealth of our clients in APAC.

Your Skills And Experience

• at least 3 years of assistant relationship manager experience preferably in a private bank or in a supporting role including in private banking operations
• university degree or institute of higher education, with valid CACS Papers 1 and 2 to be licensed for the role
• financial services experience, ideally within a client facing team
• unyielding attention to detail, even when under pressure
• team player that remains calm while managing conflicting priorities
• works with absolute discretion, tactfulness and adaptability to changing demands
• additional languages are advantageous to serve our clients in the region
• you're curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use
