Job summary

A prominent international school in Singapore seeks a dedicated cleaner who is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within school facilities. Job Description

• Clean, wash, sweep, mop, dust and vacuum assigned school facilities (e.g. classrooms, offices, multipurpose halls, carpets, windows, walls, furniture, sinks, drinking fountains, etc.) to maintain a sanitary, safe and attractive environment.
• Clean and sanitise toilet facilities and Nurse Room.
• Arrange tables, chairs, desks, etc. to provide adequate preparation for the classroom activities and events.
• Empty and clean garbage bins, remove trash, etc. to allocated disposal points.
• Respond to immediate safety and / or operational concerns for the purpose of taking appropriate action to resolve immediate safety.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Ensure that all chemicals are securely stored away when not in use.
• Clean and tidy cleaning materials and equipment storage areas in a clean and tidy condition.
• Ensure Supervisor is aware of low stock levels of supplies and equipment (eg cleaning solutions, toiletries, mops, trash bags, etc.).
• Inform the Supervisor of any defects found in the areas that the Cleaner is assigned to.

Work Location: 72 Bukit Tinggi Road, Singapore 289760 (shuttle bus service provided from 6th Avenue MRT station)

Working hours: 7.30 am - 5.00 pm (Monday to Friday) & 8.30 am - 12.30 pm (alternate Saturday)
