Job summary

WMG Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Class 4/5 licensed driver to operate commercial vehicles safely and responsibly, transporting goods to designated locations according to the schedule. You will perform daily vehicle checks, keep accurate delivery records, assist with loading and unloading, ensure cargo is secured, and maintain the vehicle in good condition.

The role requires independence, punctuality, and safety consciousness.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 4 and/or Class 5 Driving Licence.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant commercial driving experience.
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads and traffic regulations.
• Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience operating tipper trucks, lorries, hook lifts, concrete mixers, trailers, or heavy vehicles is an advantage.
• Familiarity with logistics and airfreight cargo handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 4 and/or Class 5 commercial vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Transport goods, materials, equipment, or machinery to designated locations according to the assigned schedule.
• Ensure timely collection and delivery of goods while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks before and after each trip.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of goods when required.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and transported safely.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, trip logs, and supporting documents.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
