Responsibilities

• To ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials onto vehicles and assisting colleagues in this task where necessary.
• To open the side board or tail board of the lorry for loading and unloading of equipment and machinery.
• All materials must be secure on the vehicles to enable safe transportation and to avoid any loss or damage.
• Operate and maintain all vehicles.
• Conduct vehicle checks before and at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to immediate superior.
• Ensure that all operational requirements are met in a timely and safe manner.
• Observe and report any equipment faults and failures immediately.
• Obey and comply all traffic rules and Company in-house rules and regulations including safety rules and regulations.
• Other tasks may be required from time to time.
