MARKEN TIME CRITICAL EXPRESS LIMITED (SINGAPORE OFFICE) is seeking a Dispatch/Shipping Coordinator to support transport functions and ensure timely collections and deliveries in Singapore.
You will prepare documentation, plan routes, liaise with operations, airlines, and ground handlers, and maintain accurate records while delivering professional service to clients.
Candidates should have a Class 4 driving license, geographic knowledge of Singapore, and the ability to work rotating shifts.
Reporting to the Dispatch Manager/Dispatch Assistant Manager, this person will be responsible for successfully managing/supporting Transport functions.
Prepare, complete, and obtain all required documentation to support retrieval and delivery activities
Plan and execute optimal routes to ensure collections and deliveries are completed within stipulated timelines
Liaise closely with Import and Export Operations on consignment collections, deliveries, delays, and discrepancies
Communicate clearly, professionally, and accurately with clients at the point of collection or delivery
Coordinate professionally with airlines and ground handling facilities
Ensure all documentation (e.g. Retrieval Notes, MAWB, HAWB) is completed accurately, legibly, and handed over to the appropriate department upon return to the office
Support Import and Export Operations by labelling and preparation of shipments for dispatch
Demonstrate understanding of packaging configurations and shipment preparation requirements
Possess a valid Class 4 Singapore driving license. Forklift license is a plus.
Good geographical knowledge of Singapore road networks
Proactive, reliable, and demonstrates strong communication skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Prior experience in the courier, logistics, or freight forwarding industry is preferred
Willing to work on rotating shift basis (0730 to 1700, 0930 to 1900 or 1200 to 2130 hours), 5 days/week
