Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Singapore is seeking a Resident Technical Officer to assist with technical design issues on site. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in institution projects. Responsibilities include supervising site works, ensuring compliance with specifications, and maintaining site records. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist RE/Consultant Team to address technical and design issues.

• Enforce adequate safety precautions on site.
• Resolve site issues and ensure timely project completion.
• Attend site meetings, inspections, and testing.
• Maintain site records.

Job Description

• Assist RE/Consultant Team to attend to technical and design issues at site and report issues to RE/Consultant Team
• Provide standing supervision as and when directed by the Consultant team.
• Check through construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies found between or within the same disciplines prior to the commencement of installation works.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance to approve drawings and specifications.
• Ensure adequate safety precautions are enforced on site.
• Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
• Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning.
• Maintain site records.
• Estimated commencement of work in January 2026

Job Requirement

• ITE certificate / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
• Accredited with IES-ACES Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) with valid RTO Practising Certificate
• Minimum 5 years working experience as a Resident Technical Officer.
• Preferably with experiences in Institution projects.
• Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills.
