Job description

This role will be involved in all project stages from study, planning, designing, tendering, construction inspection, construction administration to commissioning for structural engineering works related to pumping station, service reservoir, water treatment plant and other related works.

• Prepare preliminary and detailed structural designs
• Perform design calculations, analysis and studies for assigned domestic, international consultancy and design & build water and environmental projects
• Maintain all project documentation as per the Company's quality standards and constantly provides high quality service and creative solutions to the clients
• Manage, co-ordinate and follow up on projects to ensure they are completed on time and without cost overrun
• Review and ensure projects comply with relevant statutory standards and codes and client requirements
• Prepare tender specification, documentation and other relevant materials for bidding
• Communicate proactively with clients, contractors and other parties involved
• Supervise junior engineers and drafters
• Identify and resolve technical / site problems
• Attend design, clients, architects and site meetings

Job Requirement

• Bachelor in Civil / Structural Engineering or related discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an engineering consultancy environment
• Strong technical background in concept and detailed design
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently as well as in a team to meet tight project timeline
