Qualifications

Job description

We’re seeking a practical, client-facing Civil & Structural Design Engineer to join our team in Bishan / Sin Ming. You will lead design and analysis using Eurocode, prepare Authority submissions, conduct periodic site supervision from concept to handover and carry out Periodic Structural Inspections (PSI).

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and analysis of Civil & Structural engineering works.
• Liaise with Clients, Client Representatives, Consultants, Contractors & Authorities from project inception to completion.
• Prepare design calculations in Eurocode.
• Responsible for the timely submission of plans and reports to Clients and Authorities.
• Manage projects to meet the time, cost, quality and safety objectives.
• Coordinate and monitor work progress at site and attend progress meetings during the construction phase of projects.
• Conduct periodic inspection of work-in-progress structural works.
• Carry out Periodic Structural Inspection (PSI) works.
• Prepare documents for Authority submission.

Requirements

• Good degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
• Conversant in Eurocode.
• Candidates with knowledge of design softwares (TSD, TEDDS, STAAD PRO, REVIT) and drafting experience will be advantageous.
• Good design and communication skills and effectively bilingual.
• Minimum 3 years of design experience.
