Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to coordinate projects and manage design analysis. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in foundation engineering, familiarity with BCA regulations, and proficiency in design software. This position requires a commitment to teamwork and meticulous project management skills. Only Singaporean/SPR candidates will be considered.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Project coordination and carry out analysis and design of civil, structural, bridge and geotechnical engineering discipline.
• Familiar with design softwares eg. Civil 3D, Inrails, Inroads, Plaxis 2D/3D, Staad pro, SAP, Robot, Geostudio etc.
• Management of construction contracts.
• Planning site investigations, review field/laboratory test data and prepare civil,stuructural and geotechnical interpretative reports.
• Planning instrumentation, monitoring and review/analyse instrumentation data.
• Preparation of tender specifications,documents, design reports, making submissions to appropriate authorities and attending project meetings.

Qualifications

• Recognised Degree in Civil/Structural and/or Geotechnical Engineering Degree.
• Minimum 5 years\' relevant experience and foundation engineering design for geotechnical, buildings and underground structures. Fresh graduate with recognised degree is welcome.
• Working experience in the infrastructure sector.
• Must be fully conversant with BCA regulations; able to maintain systematically site records, contracts, documents and meet BCA reporting requirements. Fully conversant with Eurocode and appropriate Singapore Standards.
• Committed, meticulous and a good team player.
• Singaporean/SPR only.
