Job summary

BG&E CONSULTING ENGINEERS PTE. LTD. invites an experienced structural engineer to join its Singapore office.

The candidate will independently prepare concept to detailed designs for BCA submissions, client presentations and construction documentation for major building projects. With 5–7+ years of relevant experience, you will handle permanent and temporary works, liaise with stakeholders, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (PEB-eligible in Singapore).
• 5–7+ years of experience in design of structures, buildings, civils, or infrastructure in Singapore.
• Proficient in software SPACE GASS, STAAD.PRO, ETABS, Prokon, AutoCAD, PLAXIS, Slope/W.

Responsibilities

Job description

BG&E is an international design consultancy with offices in Singapore, Australia, the Middle East, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Our engineering services in-corporates design for infrastructure, buildings, structures, civil engineering, facades and construction support.

The successful candidate will be capable to work independently to prepare concept to detailed designs for BCA submissions, client submissions and construction documentation. You will be experienced in structural engineering, including permanent and temporary works and will have the organizational skills necessary to independently complete major types of building design projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering accepted by Professional Engineers Board Singapore (PEB)
• At least 5 to 7 years or more relevant experience in the design of structures, buildings, infrastructure or civils, with some experience in delivery of building projects located in Singapore.
• Proficient in software such as SPACE GASS, STAAD. PRO, ETABS, Prokon, AutoCAD, PLAXIS, Slope/W
• Knowledge and experience of Eurocodes standards and practices
• Proven ability to liaise with stakeholders internally and externally
• Strong communication skills, teamwork and self-motivation
