Job summary

A construction and engineering consultancy in Singapore seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer with at least 2 years of design experience. Responsibilities include performing engineering analysis, participating in BIM processes, and coordinating authority submissions. Qualifications

• A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of design experience in Infrastructure and Building projects.
• Competent in common engineering design software and analytical tools.
• Conversant with local codes and authority submission procedures.

• Perform Civil/Structural engineering design and analysis.
• Participate in the BIM process.
• Coordinate, monitor, and track authority submissions for Projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, inspections, and prepare technical reports.

Requirements

• A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university or its equivalent recognized by the Professional Engineer Board, Singapore. A diploma holder with design experience will also be considered.
• Minimum 2 years of design experience in Infrastructure and Building projects.
• Conversant with local codes and the latest authority submission procedures.
• Competent in common engineering design software, analytical tools, and BIM software.
• Design experience in precast concrete design and steelwork design. Design experience in other topics obtained in a consulting firm will be considered.
• Proactive, responsible, and keen to work in a team.
• Eager to upskill and participate in all aspects of the project delivery process.
• Excellent interpersonal, good verbal, and written communication skills.

Job Description

• Perform Civil/Structural engineering design and analysis.
• Participate in the BIM process.
• Collaborate with peers and fellow Consultants from other disciplines.
• Coordinate, monitor, and track authority submissions for Projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, inspections, and prepare technical reports.
• Attend meetings and design workshops, when necessary.
• Liaise with Engineers and/or Consultant teams during project implementation.
