Job summary

JOSEPH & ANG ENGINEERS is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer with 2–5 years of design experience in Singapore. You will analyze reinforced and steel structures, design foundations and earth retaining systems, and perform excavation analyses using PLAXIS. Strong knowledge of EURO codes and BIM is an advantage.

The ideal candidate will be independent, resourceful, and a team player with good communication skills and self-motivation to drive compliant and safe designs.

Qualifications

• Recognized degree for P.E. Board registration.
• 2–5 years design experience required.
• Knowledge of EURO codes; BIM knowledge is a plus.

Job description

• Analysis and Design of reinforced and steel structures using TSD, ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, RAPT, TEDDS
• Analysis and design of foundation and earth retaining structures, excavation using PLAXIS

Requirements

• Recognized Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering for registration with P.E. Board
• Minimum 2~5 years design experience
• Independent, resourceful and highly self-motivated
• Strong in structural and geotechnical principals and good knowledge of EURO codes. Knowledge of BIM is an added advantage
• Innovative and having good sense of structural behaviour
• Good interpersonal skills, communication skills and a team player
