A leading engineering firm located in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 3 to 5 years of experience. Responsibilities include preparing progress payment claims, conducting tender exercises, and managing project budgets. Proficiency in AutoCad and Microsoft Office is required, and experience with Structural Steel projects is an added advantage.

Qualifications

A summary of the responsibilities of this position

• Responsible for preparing progress payment claims, variation orders, project budgets & cost control and settlement of final account.
• Responsible for pre- & post-contracts administration and control.
• Conduct survey works during project tender stage.
• Produce pre-tender estimation, preparation of tender documents and maintenance of project documents.
• Source for suppliers and request for quotations.
• Conduct tender exercise such as selection of bidders, tender documentation, evaluation of tender submission and award of contract to successful bidder.
• Preparation of shop drawings / fabrication drawings and submission drawings

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience.
• Familiar with relevant drawings, specifications and details.
• Experience in Structural Steel project is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of AutoCad and Microsoft Office
