Job description

Responsibilities

• Reports to Construction Manager
• Preparation of detailed schedule and monitoring the progress closely to ensure on-time completion
• Preparation of detailed method statements and relevant documents
• Coordination between client, consultant, sub-contractor (vendors) and internal team
• Generate and handle company reports, meetings and documents required
• Propose alternative work method or other way to properly address the issues related to RC works
• Review engineering calculations, specifications and drawings submitted by subcontractors/vendors
• Ensure that activities comply with the quality, environment, health & safety

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant Civil Engineering Experience
• At least 2 years’ experience in the construction & supervision of Vehicular structures and road projects preferably with LTA infrastructure projects
• Hardworking and willing to learn
• Required to have technical expertise and knowledge in Civil Engineering Construction, specifically RC works and construction for pilecap, Piers/Columns construction, crosshead, viaduct, etc
• Experience in Viaduct Construction is an added advantage.
• Familiar with LTA standard requirements for Viaduct and RC work is a must
• Proficient in Microsoft Office is mandatory while knowledge of Auto CAD will be helpful
• Certificate holder of CSCPM/BCSS, Confined space, Work At Height are necessary
• Good interpersonal skills
