Job summary

ARK FOUNDATION PTE. LTD. is seeking a civil engineer to translate project concepts into safe, economical designs. The role blends office design work with on-site supervision, ensuring compliance and quality.

You will plan and design using CAD, estimate costs, oversee site progress, manage permits, coordinate with architects and clients, and help deliver projects on time within budget. Collaborating with contractors and urban planners, you will resolve design challenges and optimize resources.

Responsibilities

• Planning and Design: Analyze maps, survey reports, and geological data. Use CAD software to draft blueprints and structural models.
• Feasibility and Cost Estimation: Calculate material, equipment, and labor expenses. Conduct feasibility and environmental impact studies.
• Site Supervision and Quality Control: Inspect construction sites to monitor progress and verify that work meets design specifications. Test building materials like concrete and steel for structural strength.
• Regulatory Compliance: Submit permit applications and ensure compliance with local and national safety regulations and building laws.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with architects, contractors, urban planners, and clients to resolve design and development problems.
• Project Management: Allocate resources and manage budgets to deliver projects on time and within financial limits
