Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support the design of onshore industrial facilities. Responsibilities include structural calculations, design reviews, and project compliance. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of STAAD.Pro and strong communication skills are essential. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $4,200 – $5,500 per month.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil/structural design for industrial projects.
• Familiar with Singapore Building Code and authority submission process.
• Experience in EPC project environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foundation, structural, and hydraulic design calculations.
• Ensure accuracy in load calculations and structural sizing per specifications.
• Support the development of 3D models and shop drawings.
• Generate anchor bolt and setting bolt lists for procurement.
• Provide clear technical data and guidance to designers.
• Review and validate design drawings for compliance and constructability.
• Work in project teams for FEED/EPC scopes.
• Assist with field engineering and site issue resolution.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing structural calculations, reviewing civil drawings, and ensuring alignment with project specifications and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare foundation, structural, and hydraulic design calculations.
• Ensure accuracy in load calculations and structural sizing per specifications.
• Support the development of 3D models and shop drawings.
• Generate anchor bolt and setting bolt lists for procurement.
• Provide clear technical data and guidance to designers.

• Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
