Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Singapore is seeking an experienced IT manager to oversee the MIS infrastructure for the region and the Group. The role includes managing teams of C# .Net developers and business analysts, while advising on cybersecurity and project management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the IT industry, particularly in cloud migration, database management, and IT project management. A degree in IT is essential.

• Experience in project management with cross-group collaboration.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• To manage the MIS infrastructure for Singapore and the Group;
• To give advice to the Group on Infrastructure set up, advice on integration with existing infrastructure;
• To give advice for cyber security management to COO;
• Participate in Singapore and global strategic planning, management control, operational control and transaction processing;
• To perform MIS transaction processing and answers the queries on the data pertaining to the transaction, the status of a particular record and reference on a variety of documents;
• To provide Cost Benefit Analysis and work with Vendors to advice COO on cost ;
• To provide Project Management for MIS related renovation, moving data to cloud and other project management programs for the Group and Singapore ; and
• To give advice on Data capturing, processing, storage, retrievals and dissemination, to bring the Group towards a Data Driven Organsiation.

Requirements

• Degree / Master in Information Technology;
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in IT industry;
• Proven experience in managing team of C# .Net developers;
• Proven experience in managing team of business analysts in requirement gathering;
• Proven experience in managing team of MSSQL database administrators;
• Experience in Web deployment into Public Cloud provider system like Azure;
• Able to transform high level business requirement into system requirement;
• Able to articulate complex business requirement into writing;
• Familiar with .Net Core framework and architecture;
• Experience in working with different time zone;
• Experience in managing offshore teams;
• Experience in project management with cross group collaboration. PMP preferred.
• Experience in managing customer data and classification;
• Experience in managing enterprise system like SAP;
• Experience of Cloud migration;
• Knowledge of Office 365 system;
• Knowledge of Office 365 administration;
• Knowledge of Office 365 Power Automate.
