CIM Automation Engineer - Semiconductor Facilities

Job summary

SILICON BOX in Singapore is seeking a CIM Engineer to join our automation team. The role covers implementation, maintenance and development of semiconductor facility automation, including quality management, MES/EMS interfaces and logistics control.

Candidates with 5+ years in related fields, strong analytical skills and experience with SECS-I/II, HSMS/GEM, OPC and TCP/IP are preferred. You will work cross-functionally with vendors to troubleshoot and enhance integrated systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, IT or similar.
• 5+ years in related field, including 3 years of development.
• Quality-related experience in implementation and operation (SPC, TAMS, YMS, DMS, RMS).
• Facility interface experience through facility automation solution.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of QMS, Facility Automation (MC) and Logistics automation (MCS) systems.
• Handle new automation requirements, system surveys, modifications or improvements.
• Identify equipment failures, root cause analysis, and recommend solutions for technical issues.
• Provide cross-functional cooperation and vendor interaction to troubleshoot and develop solutions for integrated systems.
