Job summary

Standard Chartered seeks an experienced stress testing professional within Group FP&A to evaluate capital adequacy and liquidity under severe but plausible scenarios, focusing on SCB Group Singapore and involving other entities as needed.

You will engage with CRO and product heads to assess impacts on CIB products, drive risk projections, and socialise findings through governance forums and committees, with a strong emphasis on data quality and model lifecycle.”

Qualifications

• Degree in a numerate discipline (e.g. statistics, economics, mathematics or financial engineering).
• 10+ years experience in Banking with stress testing or risk governance.
• Knowledge of ICAAP, Recovery Plan and regulatory stress testing.

Responsibilities

• Support CIB on Enterprise Stress Testing and scenario analysis
• Engagement with Product Heads and CRO team to review stress test results and provide advisory on the impact of stress for the respective products and CIB collectively
• Product coverage includes all CIB products including structured finance
• Drive credit risk projections on EAD, PD, LGD, ECL, LI and RWA
• Socialise results with stakeholders through a robust review and challenge process
• Interpret requirements, expectations, and observations from regulator in relation to stress testing exercises
• Direct comprehensive analysis throughout the year to identify areas for improvement.
