Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Creation of shared materials and worksheets to be used for tuition classes based on latest MOE syllabus.
• Lesson preparation and marking, including the preparation of appropriate teaching resources.
• Conduct lessons with enthusiasm.
• Monitor the students’ progress and respond to students’ academic queries.
• Complete student progress reports for each semester.
• Give regular feedback to parents on their child’s learning progress and manage their feedback and enquiries.
• Maintain and update student records and relevant databases.
• Participate in open houses and marketing events as ambassadors of the company, when necessary.
• Any other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Min 3 years of teaching experience in a MOE school or 5 years’ experience teaching full time in enrichment/tuition centres.
• Possess a deep understanding of the syllabus and curriculum of intended taught subjects from P1 to P6 level.
• Nurturing, possess a natural affinity with children.
• Able to communicate effectively with students and motivate them to work towards success.
• Able to work afternoons and evenings on weekdays and teach students in group tuition (5 days work week).
• Possess a diploma from NIE or a recognised University degree.
• Willing to travel to different branches to teach (Sennett Road and Toa Payoh Lor 2).
