Job summary

PlayFACTO @ Bukit Timah is seeking an experienced Chinese Teacher to join our student care team. You will deliver engaging Chinese lessons to Primary 1–6 students and support them with homework, spelling, tests, and lesson work.

The role emphasizes strong Chinese language ability, classroom management, and effective communication with parents. Prior teaching or tutoring experience is preferred, and candidates should be ready to start immediately in a lively education environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of education/student care/classroom experience, preferably at the primary level.
• Strong command of Chinese language.
• Prior experience as a Chinese teacher or tutor.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and presentation of Chinese lesson content to children
• Supervise and guide primary school children (primary 1 to 6) with their Chinese homework, spelling practice and test and lesson work
• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding children's Chinese language progress
• Administrative work (filing of worksheets, lesson preparation)
• Any other ad-hoc duties as delegated by Centre Head
