Salary Range: $4,000 – $6,500 per month

About the Role

A leading secondary school with a strong focus on applied and holistic learning is seeking a dedicated and passionate Chinese Language Teacher to join its teaching faculty. The successful candidate will play a key role in nurturing students’ linguistic proficiency, cultural understanding, and critical thinking through engaging and authentic learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Chinese Language lessons across different levels (G3 Higher Chinese / G3 / G2 / G1 Chinese) to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Foster students’ literacy, language appreciation, and analytical skills through creative and applied learning pedagogies.
• Design and implement assessments to track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning, assessment design, and professional development.
• Serve as a Form Teacher, providing mentorship and pastoral care to students.
• Support school programmes, co-curricular activities, and events that contribute to students’ holistic development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese or related discipline, Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from NIE, Diploma in Education (NIE), or other equivalent teaching qualifications.
• Passion for applied learning, creativity, and interdisciplinary teaching.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong student-centred approach.
