We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Chinese Language Teacher to join our team at the School of Science and Technology, Singapore. In this role, you will play a vital part in nurturing confident, articulate, and critical thinkers who are ready to thrive in an ever-changing world. You will work closely with a supportive team of educators to create meaningful learning experiences that align with the MOE Secondary Chinese Language Syllabus, while also guiding the students in developing empathy, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.

Job Description
  • Deliver engaging Chinese Language lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities. (G3 Higher Chinese/G3/ G2/ G1 Chinese)
  • Develop students’ proficiency in language, literacy, and critical thinking through innovative and applied learning approaches.
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, assessment design, and professional development.
  • Mentor and guide students as a Form Teacher, fostering a caring and supportive classroom culture.
  • Contribute to the holistic education of students by supporting co-curricular activities and school events.
What We’re Looking For
  • BA (Chinese), Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the National Institute of Education (NIE), Diploma in Education from NIE or any other equivalent teaching qualifications
  • Passion for applied learning, creativity, and interdisciplinary teaching.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a student-centred approach.
