Job summary
A childcare centre in Singapore is seeking an early childhood educator to prepare lesson plans, supervise children, and create a safe learning environment. The ideal candidate holds a DECCE-T or equivalent qualification and possesses strong communication skills. This role requires a team player who can quickly respond to children's needs and maintain regular communication with families.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: DECCE‑T, DPT and/or other Diploma/Degree recognised by ECDA.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player able to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Prepare lesson plans on time.
- Set up learning corners in the centre.
- Create a secure and good learning environment for children.
- Supervise, safeguard, and care for children’s constant well‑being.
- Use appropriate teaching and child behaviour management techniques.
- Act as a conscientious team member in caring for children.
- Maintain regular communication with families and community members.
- Assist centre management in maintaining a safe environment.
