Job summary

A childcare centre in Singapore is seeking an early childhood educator to prepare lesson plans, supervise children, and create a safe learning environment. The ideal candidate holds a DECCE-T or equivalent qualification and possesses strong communication skills. This role requires a team player who can quickly respond to children's needs and maintain regular communication with families.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification: DECCE‑T, DPT and/or other Diploma/Degree recognised by ECDA.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player able to work independently.

  • Create a secure and good learning environment for children.
  • Supervise, safeguard, and care for children’s constant well‑being.
  • Use appropriate teaching and child behaviour management techniques.

  • Maintain regular communication with families and community members.
  • Assist centre management in maintaining a safe environment.

  • Assist centre management in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by promptly reporting any existing and/or potential workplace hazards.
