Job summary

Dares2dream is seeking an early childhood educator to deliver lessons aligned with the centre’s curriculum and support children’s learning and development. You will engage children through play, maintain a safe and clean classroom, and work with minimal supervision to run daily activities.

In this role you will use basic computer skills for administrative tasks, communicate positively with children and parents, and show initiative to improve teaching practices and teamwork within the centre.

Qualifications

• Minimum ACEY / C-ECCE / D-ECCE certification
• Valid First Aid certification

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons that follow the centre’s curriculum to support children’s learning and development
• Engage and motivate children through play and hands-on activities to enhance their participation and learning outcomes
• Provide routine care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day
• Maintain the classroom environment to ensure it is clean, safe, and conducive to learning
• Work independently with minimal supervision to manage daily classroom activities effectively
• Use computer skills to support administrative or teaching-related tasks as required
• Communicate clearly and positively with children, colleagues, and parents to foster a collaborative learning environment
• Demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn to continuously improve teaching practices and classroom management
• Collaborate as a cheerful and enthusiastic team player to support centre goals and activities
