Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a nurturing center leader for Artemis Preskool @ Boon Keng .This position is for individuals who have a passion for curriculum leadership, administrative capabilities, and a growth mindset to contribute to our organisation's continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Chart the direction of the centre and work towards the achievement of its short- and long-term goals aligned to its strategic thrusts.
  2. Clarify Greenland Childcare mission and values to all staff.
  3. Set goals of the Centre in order to garner support from its main stakeholders for the achievement of the goals set.
  4. Participate in networking, sharing and collaboration among the centres so as to raise the level of performance of the centre.
  5. Work with Admin & Accounts Team on the day-to-day centres’ operations including finance, human resource policies and practices and optimise the use of cluster financial resources to build a strong preschool programme.
  6. Conducting learning needs analysis for professional development and recommend personnel with potential for career development.
  7. Enhance the image of the centre anchored upon its quality educational programmes, organisational excellence and the professionalism of the teaching staff.
  8. Supervise centre teachers and harness their support to ensure the delivery of a meaningful, engaging, child-centred and sound curriculum in line with the principles spelt out in the standard ECE Framework.
  9. Ensure that learning is supported by a conducive and safe environment where children can explore, experiment, question, acquire knowledge and skills and create new knowledge.
  10. Take on the role of instructional leader in monitoring children’s achievement and development and using data-based trends to assess curriculum areas for improvement and growth.
  11. Lead, guide, coach and inspire the staff to contribute their creativity, professional expertise, talents and skills towards delivering a curriculum that meet children’s needs.
  12. Responsible for day-to-day HR activities – Recruitment, Orientation, Performance Appraisal, Learning Needs Analysis and Exit Interviews – for all centre’s staff. Refer to Responsibility Matrix for detailed responsibilities towards these positions.
  13. Create a safe learning environment and to provide the best possible care to children under their charge.
  14. Fosters a shared vision among staff and nurture professionalism as well as a culture of care, respect and collaboration within the Centre.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma in Pre‑School Education Leadership (DPE‑L) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education – Leadership (DECCE‑L), or its equivalent recognised by ECDA.
  • Valid certificate in first aid recognised by ECDA.
  • Candidate must have a reasonable grasp in the usage of various applications (such as our preschool management system), and is willing and able to adapt and adopt the usage of new technologies.
  • Candidate should have good interpersonal skills, and is able to resolve.
  • Preferably Managers specializing in Education, Training & Development or equivalent.
  • Full‑Time position(s) only.
