UNITED WORLD PRESCHOOL PTE. LTD. seeks an energetic teaching assistant to support students with their assignments and reinforce learning concepts under the guidance of lead teachers. The role includes tutoring, preparing materials, and maintaining a safe classroom environment.

The successful candidate will help with recordkeeping, attendance, and school events, contributing to a positive, orderly educational setting in our Singapore centre.

Qualifications

• Support learning concepts and reinforce assignments for children.
• Assist lead teachers with tutoring and recordkeeping tasks.
• Prepare lesson materials and organize classroom resources.

Responsibilities

• Assist children individually or in small groups to help them master assignments and reinforce learning concepts presented by teachers
• Tutor children using lesson plans when the class teacher is unavailable
• Prepare lesson materials, bulletin board displays, and exhibits to support learning environments
• Instruct and monitor students in the proper use and care of equipment and materials to prevent injuries and damage
• Enforce school and class rules to promote proper student behavior
• Supervise students in classrooms and during field trips to ensure their safety
• Support lead teachers with recordkeeping tasks such as tracking attendance accurately
• Attend staff meetings and actively participate in committees as required
• Assist in preparing for teacher-parent conferences and other school events
• Organize and label materials by typing, filing, and photocopying to maintain classroom order
• Perform any other duties necessary for the smooth operation of the Centre
