Job Description & Requirements

The Chief Product Officer (CPO) will serve as the executive owner of the company’s product vision, strategy, and technology execution. This role combines product leadership with technical and architectural ownership, ensuring that product decisions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

As the senior-most technology leader, the CPO will function as the de facto Chief Technology Officer, responsible for platform architecture, engineering excellence, technical roadmap, and delivery while maintaining a strong customer- and market-driven product mindset.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Leadership

• Define and own the end-to-end product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle

• Translate business goals and customer needs into scalable product strategies

• Lead product discovery, prioritization, and execution across teams

• Ensure product-market fit through continuous customer feedback and data analysis

2. Technology & Engineering Ownership

Act as the executive owner of the company’s technology stack and architecture

Set technical standards, best practices, and engineering principles

Oversee system design, scalability, performance, security, and reliability

Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and platforms

3. Team Leadership & Culture

• Lead and mentor Product Management, Engineering, and Technical teams

• Build a high-performance, execution-focused product and engineering culture

• Drive cross-functional collaboration across design, operations, sales, and marketing

4. Execution & Delivery

• Own product and technology delivery timelines and outcomes

5. Business & Stakeholder Engagement

• Present product and technology strategy to executive leadership and board

• Support customer and partner/ investor discussions from a product/tech perspective

Qualifications

Required

• 8+ years of experience in product management and/or engineering background

• Proven experience leading both product strategy and technical execution

• Strong background in software architecture, system design, and modern tech stacks

• Experience scaling products and platforms in a fast-growing environment

• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams

Preferred

• Previous experience as leader in software company

• Experience in SaaS, platform, or data-driven products
