Job Description
  • Monitoring of Treasury Back office - Settlements, SWIFT Communication Room, Remittances, clearing, retail& corporate liabilities, Alternate channels, Retail assets and call centre.
  • Accurate and timely submission of various regulatory, Head Office, Internal reporting/activities in respect of the Treasury Back office, ATMs, Branches, etc - Monthly/ Quarterly/ Half Yearly and Annually.
  • Review of key processes such as Mortgage Loan Process, ATM/POS reconciliation process, Clearing Process,Remittance Process, Settlement Process, Customer Acceptance Process, Cash Department Procedures, Process for SMA/ NPA follow up in Retail Loans etc and setting up of new processes, to reduce operational risk/ cost and improve service delivery.
  • Efficient credit delivery of retail loans including underwriting of retail loans and presenting to Credit Committees.
  • Close co-ordination between IT Dept. and Operations Dept.
  • Review of key Policies such as Deposit Policy, Complaint Management Policy, Security Policy & RecordRetention Policy.
  • To be associated with development of new products and services by Retail BU.
  • To ensure that the branches are run in strict compliance with laid down policies and procedures.
  • To ensure that all disputes/ complaints are resolved within TAT and systemic remedial measures are taken.
  • Reviewing of job-profile of employees in O&S department to ensure proper allocation, streamlinework-flows and maximize operational efficiency.
  • To ensure developing skills of operating staff to ensure effective delivery of services.
  • To ensure quarterly monitoring of material Outsourcing arrangements. Annual Review of Third party Service providers.
  • To monitor individual and team performance and ensure KPIs are met to achieve organisational objectives, operational efficiency and teamwork.
  • Ensure timely reconciliation of office accounts, Nostro entries, ATM Suspense entries.
  • To ensure to attend to Internal and External Audits and rectification of deficiencies pointed out.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of the Premises Department including timely execution of New lease agreements, renewal of lease agreements, insurance cover for banks assets and other liabilities.
Requirements
  • Qualification Degree or equivalent, preference will be given to those who have done courses related to Banking.
  • Banking experience of continuous 15 to 20 years out of which minimum Branch Banking experience of 5 years in area of branch management.
  • Strong understanding of financial compliance.
  • Sound knowledge of banking systems/processes/procedures.
  • Sound knowledge of banking/financial products.
  • Good management skills and analytical mindset, one who can effectively analyse a situation and make decisions to address issues/problem.
  • Excellent communication and inter personal skills with the ability to Interact with all levels of staff and top management.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft applications: Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
