Job summary

Look Capital in Singapore seeks Head of Legal & Compliance to lead the legal and compliance function, partnering with senior management on fund activities, regulatory governance, and cross-border arrangements.

You will draft and review core documents (PPM, LPA, Subscription Agreements, SAFE), oversee MAS/SFA AML/KYC compliance, and coordinate with regulators and external counsel.

Fluent English and Chinese are required to liaise with counterparties; prior CMS/SFC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 5–10 years in legal/compliance within financial services.
• Experience with funds, asset management or fund platforms preferred.
• 2–3 years in a reputable law firm focusing on funds or finance regulation preferred.
• Fluent in Chinese and English; able to liaise with counterparties in both languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead all legal matters relating to investment and fund activities.
• Draft, review and negotiate key legal documents: PPM, LPA, Subscription Agreements, SAFE.
• Provide legal advice on fund structuring, investment transactions, and cross-border arrangements.
• Handle corporate legal matters, commercial agreements, and provide sound legal judgment.
