Chief Financial Officer

Our client is a research lab working on experimental AI products. We are a fully remote team based mostly in the APAC region. We are looking for a talented Startup CFO with an interest in 0-to-1 to join our team.

Responsibilities

• You will be the 0-to-1 CFO of a startup
• You are not afraid to get your hands dirty as an individual contributor in the early days
• Work with founders to build business model in rapidly changing AI frontier industry
• Setup Accounting Systems, Controls and Processes
• Setup Payroll Systems, Controls and Processes
• Forecast burn rate, cash flow vs. revenues

Requirements

• Battle scars from previous startup journeys
• Experience using Carta to manage stock options and cap tables
• Experience in 0-to-1 setup of Accounting, Payroll, and Audit systems and processes
• Prior experience with Singaporean law is preferred, but candidates who are willing to learn are also welcome to apply.
• Strong plus] Having a CPA
• Strong plus] Ability to code or do analytics
