Job Description
- Develop and execute financial plans and budgets for the company's operations in Singapore and China.
- Formulated the international financial strategy of company and promoted its implementation
- Financial management and risk control management
- Oversee financial reporting and analysis, including regular forecasts and variance analysis
- Overseas fund planning and financing work of the Group of company and promote the group’s overall internationalization strategy
- Partner with MDs of the region to provide financial support for strategic decision-making and identify areas for cost savings and growth opportunities
- Manage the finance team and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and tax authorities
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the senior leadership and executive team
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of relevant experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, and commercial business partnering
- Prior Experience in oil / energy / petrochemical industry preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in financial data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proven track record of delivering results and driving change in a complex, global organization
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in financial modelling, analysis, and reporting
- the ideal candidate should be multilingual with proficiency in Mandarin being advantageous, as there will be a need to communicate with Mandarin-speaking counterparts
