Are you a seasoned financial leader ready to drive the strategic growth of a dynamic, rapidly expanding multi‑brand automotive dealership group?

Our client spans over 10 prime locations and is looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their senior leadership team.

Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be the financial architect of the organisation, overseeing all financial operations, strategic business optimisation, and a dedicated team of finance professionals.

The Role, you'll be instrumental in shaping the financial future and operational excellence of the group.

Your core responsibilities will include:
  • Financial Leadership: Lead, manage, and scale all financial operations and reporting functions across the multiple dealership locations.
  • Strategic Oversight: Direct the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing insightful analysis to inform key business decisions.
  • Performance Optimisation: Proactively identify and execute initiatives to improve business operations, maximise efficiency, and accelerate financial performance.
  • Team Development: Coach, mentor, and lead the accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Compliance & Control: Ensure rigorous adherence to all financial reporting deadlines, regulatory requirements, and maintain robust internal control frameworks.
What You'll Bring: Qualifications & Experience

  • Industry Expertise: Substantial, verifiable experience in a financial leadership role within the automotive dealership sector.
  • Technical Proficiency: High‑level computer skills, including expertise in dealership management systems like ERALINK and ERAPOWER are required.
  • Leadership & Development: Demonstrated ability to successfully train, coach, and support accounting staff to build a cohesive, top‑performing team.
  • Financial Credentials: CPA or CA accreditation is highly regarded.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional time management skills with a proven track record of meeting strict deadlines, coupled with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
